LAST SERIES
- Won a four-game series over Asbury University with a doubleheader sweep Monday afternoon at Douglas M. Epling Stadium.
- Earned an 8-0 shutout in the day's first contest before defeating the Eagles (19-16, 12-8 KIAC) 4-1 in the series finale.
- Tech took the first two games on Friday with scores of 11-4 and 7-3.
- Senior Josh Hudson had a standout showing in game one, pitching for the shutout win while driving in four runs off of two hits at the plate.
- Fellow classmate Kyle Sager earned the win on the mound in the night cap after 5.0 innings of work.
- Tech's five hits in the last contest of the KIAC Baseball Games of the Week included three doubles, one each from Junior Trevor Lam, senior Doug Prather and freshman Roy Suzuki.
- Prather produced two hits towards a RBI and a run scored to lead the team.
- Currently No. 2 in the KIAC with a conference record of 14-6.
- Indiana University Southeast holds a KIAC record of 15-1 for the top spot while Point Park University's 11-5 conference showing gives the Pioneers third place.
- Harvey leads the KIAC with 17 stolen bases while junior Tanner Levine's batting average of .394 garners him second place in the conference.
- Junior Austin Southcott's ERA of 2.84 puts him at No. 3 overall in the KIAC.

LAST SERIES
- Took a two-game conference series sweep from Cincinnati Christian University where the Golden Bears only needed five innings in both contests.
- The Golden Bears (15-20, 4-4 KIAC) defeated the Eagles (8-15, 3-5 KIAC) 17-2 before earning a 13-0 shutout in the night cap.
- Senior Genna Trippett had another standout showing, posting ten RBI off of six hits including her ninth home run and third and fourth doubles of the season.
- The Parkersburg, West Virginia native leads the team with 36 RBI and is currently ranked in the nation (NAIA DI) at No. 12 for home runs per game (.300) and No. 19 for total home runs (9).

- The Golden Bears recorded 13 hits as a team towards their 17 runs scored including a three-hit game from Trippett, senior Megan Blythe and freshman Rachel Rusch.
- Trippett finished with six RBI, two doubles and two runs scored while Blythe had three RBI, three runs scored and R. Rusch had a double, drove in two runs and crossed the plate four times herself.
- Junior Mackenzie Wilson (6-7) threw for the complete game and the win.
- Wilson struck out five batters while scattering four hits and one earned run.

- Freshman Skylar Connelly and Trippett managed three hits each in the night cap.
- Trippett knocked a home run, finishing with four RBI and a run scored.
- Connelly was a perfect 3-for-3 at the plate and scored three runs for the Gold and Blue.
- Sophomore Kayla Jones hit her first collegiate home run and ended with a 2-for-3 effort at bat.
- Jones drove in three runs while producing two scores herself.
- Freshman Kaitlyn Sisler (2-0) earned her second victory in the circle this season, pitching five innings for the win.
- Sisler had four strike outs and gave up just three hits.

LAST MEET
- Freshman Luke Jobson qualified for the NAIA Outdoor Track and Field Championships (May 26-28) Saturday while competing in the 5000 Meter Race Walk at the University of the Cumberlands Invite in Williamsburg, Kentucky.
- In a competition that WVU Tech men's and women's track and field squads participated in as individuals only, Jobson finished the race with a time of 23:51.44 for a new meet and track record and a first place finish.
- Jobson, who's time in the 5000 Meter Race Walk puts him at No. 2 in the nation (NAIA), joins fellow Golden Bear sophomore Nikki Aleshire who will participate in the Marathon this May.
- Aleshire competed in the Charleston Half Marathon (January 16), finishing with a time of 1:29.09 to qualify for nationals.
- Freshman Daniel Lynch finished second overall in the men's shot put with a throw of 13.10 m while also garnering sixth place honors in the discus throw (37.71 m).
- Other notable placements from the Gold and Blue came from freshmen Jordan Tucker (100 Meter Dash, Seventh, 11.39), Gjenine Galloway (400 Meter Hurdles, Seventh, 1:13.39) and Jaleel Parris (Long Jump, Ninth, 6.01 m).

KIAC FALL PREVIEW (October 2-3, 2015)
- Finished second out of nine teams in the KIAC Fall Preview at the Cherry Blossom Golf and Country Club (Par 72, 6,842 yards) after shooting a two-round team score of 628 (+52).
- Asbury University won the event (+43) followed by the Golden Bears (+52), Point Park University (+56), Cincinnati Christian University (+57) and Brescia University (+59) to round out the top five.
- Tech was paced by freshman Matt Ryan who finished fourth out of 52 golfers Saturday at +8 (149).
- Also representing the Golden Bears were freshman Braden Keown (T5, +11, 155), senior Steven Han (T17, +17, 161), Blake Burgess (T17, +17, 161) and freshman Makenzie Gaskin (T26, +21, 165).
