- Picked up a RSC win, 81-58 against Brescia University in the Baisi Athletic Center.
- Sophomore Alexandra Combs earned a career-high making 4-of-6 three-pointers towards her game-high 20 points.
- Combs was 7-for-11 from the field to go with five rebounds, two assists and two steals.
- Sophomore Zjhane West posted 14 points and freshman Carlie Biehl-Wilson marked 11 to round out Tech's top offensive contributors.
- Biehl-Wilson pulled down a team-high six rebounds while West had game bests in assists (5) and steals (4).
- Also contributing to Tech's rebound total included senior Cheyanna Lusk (6) and freshman Logan Dudley (5).
- Brescia was led by Catherine Dunn under the boards with seven rebounds to go with ten points while Kelsey Kirkpatrick finished with a team-high 15 points.
- As a team, the Golden Bears shot 55.7 percent (34-for-61) from the field while outrebounding their opponent, 36-22.
- Tech forced 22 miscues while grabbing 13 steals in the win.

LAST GAME
- Defeated Brescia University, 100-61 in RSC play at the Baisi Athletic Center.
- In back-to-back games, the Gold and Blue have managed a balanced offensive attack including five players finishing in double figures in Saturday's win.
- As a team, Tech shot 63.5 percent (40-for-63) from the field, 66.7 percent (14-for-21) from three-point range and 75 percent (6-for-8) from the bonus line.
- Tech also outrebounded their opponent, 38-33 while forcing 18 turnovers and picking up 15 steals.
- Freshman Junior Arrey led all scorers with a career-high 22 points including a 4-for-5 effort from beyond the arc.
- Senior Ra'Shaud Kincaid also finished 4-for-5 from the three-point line towards his 12 points.
- Arrey dished out seven assists to go with two rebounds.
- Junior Elisha Boone posted 16 points and seven assists while fellow classmates Ryan Atkins had 14 points and Michael Scott had 13 points.
- Scott also had a team-best eight rebounds while senior Patrick Gnagbo pulled down four boards and had a game-high three blocks.
- The Bearcats were led by Dillon Geralds who had 22 points and eight rebounds.
LAST INDOOR MEET
- Sophomore Daniel Lynch threw 15.23 meters in the shot put towards a first place finish at the Bast-Cregger Invitational hosted by Roanoke College, earning a spot at the NAIA Indoor Track and Field National Championship (March 2-4, 2017 | Johnson City, Tennessee).
- The WVU Tech men's squad competed in four events to open up the indoor season, having representation in the 300m, 600m, 60m hurdles and the shot put.
- Lynch had the best finish for Tech followed by fellow classmates Raquez Lockhart with an 11th place finish in the 600m (1:29.79) and Sasha Fleurinor who finished the 300m with a 13th place finish (38.89).
- Freshman Joseph De La Cruz finished the preliminaries in the 60m hurdles with a 9.42.
