- Fell in a hard fought River States Conference (RSC) match-up at Indiana University Kokomo, 3-2.
- The Golden Bears now hold a record of 15-4, 1-1 (RSC) while the Cougars move to 12-4, 3-0 (RSC).
- Tech took the first two sets 25-17 each before falling 19-25, 16-25 and 14-16.
- Junior Katelyn Byrd led the attack with 17 kills while senior Ana Monteiro tallied 12 kills.
- Junior Konstantina Pateli handled the ball again, recording 43 assists to go with nine digs and two service aces.
- Sophomore libero Sawyer Hawgood had a match-high 18 digs while Monteiro marked ten digs.

- Blanked Indiana University East 1-0 to begin River States Conference (RSC) play in Beckley Saturday evening.
- The Golden Bears boost their record to 4-2, 1-0 (RSC) while the Red Wolves move to 4-3-2, 0-2 (RSC).
- The only goal of the contest came from sophomore Meghan Rugel who struck in the first half (17') to sail a ball past IU East's keeper Amanda Nicholson.
- Rugel's score was a season-first for the Mesa, Arizona native and came from the assist of fellow classmate Domenica Moncayo.
- The Gold and Blue posted seven shots on goal while holding the Red Wolves' to six shots on frame.
- Tech was led by freshman Brittany Dye who posted three shots on goal while Rugel had two.
- Freshman Jenna Miller (3-2) protected the goal for 90 minutes and made six saves towards the win.
- Nicholson made six Golden Bear stops while allowing one goal in the complete game.

- Earned a 3-1 River States Conference (RSC) victory over Indiana University East Saturday afternoon in Beckley.
- The Golden Bears are still undefeated in 2018 with a record of 7-0-3, 1-0 (RSC) while the Red Wolves move to 3-6, 0-2 (RSC).
- Tech was on the board first when junior Rolando Sanchez found the back of the net off the perfect pass from fellow junior Alvaro Tina in the 23rd minute.
- IU East's Barou Yoplo tallied the Red Wolves lone goal in minute 43.
- Junior Jesus Naves posted the winning goal when he put the ball past IU East's keeper, Gianluca Marchetti, with two minutes to play.
- Naves' score was followed by fellow classmate Manuel Garcia off the assist from freshman Ben Mawby in minute 89.
- As a team, Tech marked 19 shots on goal while holding the Red Wolves to just five.
- The Gold and Blue were led by Sanchez and junior Eduardo Gutierrez with four shots on frame each.
- In goal, junior Jose Domingo Xam-mar started for Tech, marking one save in 45 minutes of play.
- Fellow junior Jorge Martinez (1-0) was awarded the win after one save, zero goals allowed and 45 minutes protecting the net.

LAST MEET
- Competed at the Friendship Invitational hosted by Cedarville University.
- The men's team finished eighth out of 16 teams while the women combined for tenth place out of 16 squads.
- Junior Dan Nehnevaj led the men, finishing 22nd out of 206 runners with a time of 26:54.1 in the 8k.
- Sophomore Michael Ecker-Randolph was the next Golden Bear to cross the line, finishing at 28:17.3 (54th).
- Freshmen Zachary Longwell (28:35.6, 63rd), Nathan Morton (28:42.1, 65th) and Seth Bierbrauer (29:17.9, 75th) rounded out Tech's top five.
- The women's team was led by sophomore Jaelynn Parks who finished the 5k with a time of 21:02.2 and 42nd place out of 133 competitors.
- Crossing second for Tech was freshman Kara Sandusky with a time of 21:11.2 (46th).
- The next three finishes for the Gold and Blue included freshmen Annmarie Gruttadauro (22:49.9, 65th) and Alisa Kuchmak (22:53.3, 67th) and sophomore Hannah Pride (23:00.4, 68th).
