- Now enjoying a seven-game winning streak after defeating Midway University 82-73 in River States Conference (RSC) play Saturday afternoon.
- The Golden Bears are now 14-8, 9-1 (RSC) while the Eagles move to 9-9, 4-6 (RSC).
- Junior Laura Requena posted two career-highs to lead all scorers and rebounders with 28 points and 17 boards.
- The combo marks the Madrid, Spain's fifth double-double this season.
- Sophomore Brittney Justice also recorded her fifth double-double this year with 12 points and 12 rebounds.
- Senior Savannah Shamblin marked a double-double with 11 points and ten assists.
- Off the bench, sophomore Whittney Justice had 12 points while fellow classmate Alexandria Gray poured in ten points.
- As a team, Tech finished 55.2 percent (32-for-58) from the field while holding the Eagles to 40.6 percent (26-for-64).
- They also held a huge advantage under the boards, 43-29.

- Posted its fourth consecutive victory after defeating Midway University in River States Conference action, 85-74.
- The Golden Bears are now 18-3, 9-1 (RSC) while the Eagles move to 9-9, 4-6 (RSC).
- Tech had four hit double-digits including 18 points from senior Elisha Boone.
- Boone also pulled down 13 boards to go with three assists and a steal.
- Fellow senior Brandon Shingles hit five from three-point range towards 17 points and had six rebounds, two assists and a steal.
- Off the bench, sophomores Dominik King and Tamon Scruggs contributed with 12 points and 11 points respectively.
- Senior Tommy Collins grabbed seven rebounds for the Golden Bears while recording eight points.
- Sophomore Junior Arrey dished a game-high four assists while grabbing a game-best four steals and adding five points.
- The Eagles outshot the Golden Bears, 45.8 percent compared to 41.4 percent but Tech held the edge under the boards, 49-32.

- Competed at NCAA DII Fairmont State University.
- The men's squad stay undefeated in duals, 5-0, after a 99-71 victory while the women fell 21-133 and move to 1-4 this season.
- For the men, sophomore Carolus Josefina had a standout night, touching first in all three events he competed in.
- He helped lead the 400 Free relay team of junior Manuel Laguna Gomez and seniors Dan Kelly and Vinicius Rios to first place with a time of 3:26.88.
- The Willemstad, Curacao native also had the fastest time in the 200 Free (1:52.60) and the 200 Backstroke (2:01.12).
- Also finishing on top for the men were Gomez in the 50 Free (23.13), sophomore Marcos de Paula Damaso in the 200 Butterfly (2:07.25) and the 500 Free (4:58.86) and junior Felipe Ruiz in the 200 Backstroke (2:01.12).
- Senior Isabela Kiesewetter Zandavalli recorded a first place touch in the 200 Backstroke (2:12.15) for the women.
- Also picking up points for the women's squad included senior A'ishah Hironimus (2nd, 50 Free, 29.67 and 2nd, 100 Free, 1:04.37) and junior Ana Carolina Loureiro (2nd, 200 Butterfly, 2:38.67).

LAST TIME OUT
- Began their season Saturday at the Pioneer Open hosted by Marietta College followed by race walkers competing at the USATF Southeast Region Masters Championships on Sunday.
- The men finished 9th of 12 teams and the women finished 10th on Saturday in Marietta.
- The points picked up for the men's squad included a second place showing from junior Sasha Fleurinor in the 500m (1:08.98) and fellow junior Nicolas Gambrell's who also ended second but in the triple jump (11.02m).
- Senior Raquez Lockhart was right behind fellow Golden Bear, Fleurinor, in the 500m, crossing third with a time of 1:09.23.
- During the long jump, sophomore Evan Pronesti (6th, 5.84m) and senior Zuberi Idy (7th, 5.71m) also earned points towards Tech's total.
- The women were led by sophomore Journee Wheeler who posted a second place finish in the 400m with a time of 1:05.19.
- Also earning points for the Gold and Blue were senior Channa Hoskins in the 500m (5th, 1:41.83) and sophomore Tenaya Meade in the 200m (28.39).
- The men race walkers (3,000m) dominated on Sunday afternoon including three Golden Bears who have punched their ticket to the NAIA National Championship February 28 - March 2 in Brookings, South Dakota by meeting the national championships qualifying standards.
- Sophomore Steven Smith finished first with a time of 13:33.44, the qualifying 'A' standard time is 14:15.00.
- Senior Luke Jobson followed with a time of 13:58.64.
- Junior Dan Nehnevaj was Tech's final finisher, crossing third with a time of 15:24.60 and surpassing the qualifying 'B' standard time (15:30.00).
- For the women, sophomore Allie Nelson finished the 3,000m race walking course with a time of 25:22.88.

- In Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) action, WVU Tech defeated St. Andrews University 32-20.
- The Golden Bears are now 4-4 in duals overall, 3-1 (AAC) while the Knights move to 1-4, 0-2 (AAC).
- The team won six bouts, four on the mat and two by forfeit.
- Sophomore Logan Robertson picked up the first victory by action with a major decision over Dominic Burke 18-0 at 141 lbs.
- Fellow classmate Devin Wilhelm was next at 149 lbs, defeating Aiden McDonald 10-0.
- Junior Leland Swafford earned the lone fall of the dual, taking down Jacob Arnold at 157 lbs. in 1:47.
- The final Golden Bear win on the mat was earned by freshman Cameron Crislip, 15-1, who battled against Jonathan Zafra at 165 lbs.
