LAST SERIES
  • Dropped a three-game River States Conference (RSC) series at Indiana University Kokomo this past weekend with scores of 8-4, 3-1 and 13-3.
  • The Golden Bears now hold a record of 12-19, 3-9 (RSC) while the Cougars move to 21-7, 11-1 (RSC).
  • As a team, the Gold and Blue hit .244 while IU Kokomo hit .322.
  • Douglas Pollock led the series for Tech at the plate with a batting average of .571 off of a 4-for-7 effort including a double.
  • Kent Rooklin posted five hits including a double, a run scored and four RBI.
  • Jake Allen recorded three hits including two doubles and a run scored.
  • Dariel Torres also marked a multi-hit series, posting two hits including a double, RBI and run scored.
  • Andrew Sharp knocked the lone Golden Bear home run of the series.
  • Michael Rotenberry recorded nine strike outs on the mound after throwing for 6.0 innings.

  • WVU Tech women's and men's track and field opened up their 2019 outdoor campaign Friday and Saturday at the UC Alumni Invitational hosted by University of Charleston.
  • The men finished third overall while the women took home a fourth place finish.
