WINSTON-SALEM, Virginia -- WVU Tech women's and men's indoor track & field began the 2023 season at the Mondo College Invitational Saturday.
Taylor Sexton started things off with an 18th place showing in the 60m hurdles with a time of 10.48.
In the 200m, Jacob Showalter finished with a time of 26.67 (50th) for the men while Sexton crossed at 31.77 (56th) for the women.
Showalter also competed in the 400m and finished with a time of 1:00.70 for 30th overall.
Samuel Whitcomb was 21st in the 1000m with a time of 3:14.56.
Carmen Camino Falcon recorded an 11:14.97 in the 3000m (11th) while
Nathan Morton ran to a time of 9:21.44 (19th) in the same event for the men.
The Golden Bears will return to the same track Sunday, January 22 for the COROS Collegiate Challenge.
