OAKLAND CITY, Ind. -- WVU Tech men's soccer hasn't lost in its last seven matches including the win over River States Conference (RSC) opponent Oakland City 3-1 Saturday afternoon. The Golden Bears now boast a record of 7-4-2, 5-0-1 (RSC) while the Mighty Oaks move to 5-7-3, 3-2-1 (RSC).
Freshman
Ollie Corris (Manchester, England) found the back of the net first, recording a goal in minute 33.
Tech's next goal came from a Mighty Oaks' own goal in the 68th minute.
Freshman
Vasco Berardo (Lisbao, Portugal) recorded the final Golden Bear goal off an assist from fellow classmate
Lorenzo Grispello (Milano, Italy) in minute 76.
The Mighty Oaks found their goal in the 86th minute from Adam Dimba.
Sophomore keeper
Luka Felix (Portugal) recorded three saves and allowed one goal in the complete game W. Oakland City's keeper, Jacob Robinson, had one stop in 90 minutes.
The Golden Bears will continue road play when they travel to Shawnee State University Thursday, October 19.
