BECKLEY, W.Va. -- (RV) WVU Tech men's basketball defeated Mid-Atlantic Christian University 85-59 in Van Meter Gym Friday, the first time the program has competed on campus in Beckley for a home contest.

• Tech played on campus in Van Meter Gym for the first time in program history.
• The team received votes in the NAIA Coaches' Top 25 poll.
• The Golden Bears have now won six consecutive games.
• Braden Chapman led all scorers with 29 points to go with six assists, five boards and three steals.
• Thomas Hailey was 8-for-9 towards 17 points, six rebounds, two assists and a steal.
• Darrin Martin (15 pts.) and Adam Seams (14 pts.) also hit double-digits and had five rebounds each.
• Cole Chapman grabbed six steals and had six assists, five rebounds, two points and a block.

UP NEXT
The Golden Bears host another non-conference match-up Monday, December 16 against Kentucky Christian University in the Beckley-Raleigh County Convention Center at 7 p.m.
