Outdoor Track & Field

MARIETTA, Ohio – Freshman hurdler Isaac Agee represented WVU Tech on the national stage Thursday, competing in the 110-meter hurdles preliminaries at the 2026 NAIA Outdoor Track and Field National Championships in Asheville, North Carolina.

Agee finished 16th overall in a nationally competitive field with a time of 14.48. The event advanced the top two finishers from each heat plus the next two fastest times into the national final.

The appearance capped a standout freshman outdoor season for the Hines, West Virginia native, who continued to emerge as one of the top young hurdlers in the NAIA throughout the spring campaign.

Agee entered the national championship after setting a school and meet record in the 110-meter hurdles at the Jasmine Claggett Memorial with a winning time of 14.36. The mark ranked No. 9 nationally in the NAIA this season and stood as a personal best for the freshman hurdler.

At the River States Conference Outdoor Championship, Agee earned two all-conference finishes for the Golden Bears. He placed runner-up in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 14.53 after qualifying with a 14.48 in prelims, while also finishing third in the long jump with a mark of 6.76 meters (22-2.25). He also helped WVU Tech score in the 4x100-meter relay as part of one of the program's strongest championship performances in recent years.
