Freshman pitcher Ryan Windon has been named the Golden Bear Star Performer for April 2-9.

Windon (1-1) registered his first collegiate win on the mound after giving up two hits, while striking out six batters and walking one in 5.2 innings of work in Tech's 2-1 win over Ohio University Lancaster April 5.

Windon is an Alderson, W. Va. native and studies forensic investigation at WVU Tech.
