Senior Zack White has been named a Golden Bear Star Performer for Sept. 9-15.

White produced a 14th place finish out of 61 runners at the Shawnee State Fall Invitational in Portsmouth, Ohio Friday evening.

The senior paced Tech, completing the 8K course in 28:08. As a team, the Golden Bears took a fourth place finish at the meet.

The son of Janet Mazanek and Michael White hails from Rosedale, West Virginia and studies electrical engineering at Tech.
