Freshman Makenzie Gaskin has been named a Golden Bear Star Performer of the Week for October 14-20, 2015.

Gaskin won the individual medalist award to pace the Golden Bears Saturday at the Ohio Valley University Highlands Cup Challenge.

The Penrith, Australia finished first out of 44 golfers carding a 150 (+4) in the one-day 36 hole event.

The son of Mark and Louise Gaskin is majoring in Mechanical Engineering at WVU Tech.
