Freshman Savannah Shamblin has been named a Golden Bear Star Performer of the Week for December 9-15, 2015.

The guard finished with 15 points while grabbing four rebounds versus UVA-Wise last week. The Cross Lanes, West Virginia native also dished a team-high five assists and is currently ranked No. 16 in the NAIA DII averaging 4.4 assists per game.

The daughter of Sam and Bridgett Shamblin is majoring in engineering as a Golden Bear.
