Senior Genna Trippett has been named a Golden Bear Star Performer of the Week for March 23-30, 2016.

Trippett finished 8-for-15 at the plate last week, including driving in 13 runs while scoring five runs and hitting three home runs and one double. The pitcher/first baseman knocked three dingers and recorded eight RBI in just one contest for Tech (11-5 victory over Middlebury College in Florida).

The Parkersburg, West Virginia native is currently enjoying a No. 18 ranking in the nation (NAIA DI) for .292 home runs per game and a No. 25 ranking with seven total home runs this season.
