?WILLIAMSBURG, Kentucky - The WVU Tech men's swim team fell to University of the Cumberlands, 113-90 and the women's team was defeated 124-44 by the Patriots Saturday afternoon. The men's team is now 7-1 while the women's squad is 0-8.

Here are the Golden Bear highlights from the meet -
 

• Freshman Quentin Cooper won the 1000 Free - 10:11.75.
• Sophomore Matheus Montarroyos touched first in the 500 Free - 4:55.27.
• Freshman Kendra Monnin won the 200 Breaststroke - 2:34.82
• Freshman Manuel Serrano Laguna ended on top for the 200 Breaststroke - 2:10.82.

The Gold and Blue will next play host for the Tech Tri-Meet Saturday, January 31.
