Seven Swimmers Earn NAIA Preseason All-American Accolades

MONTGOMERY, West Virginia -- CollegeSwimming.com announced its 2016-17 Division III Pre-Season All-America selections Monday. A total of 104 swimmers were selected including seven returning Golden Bears.

Selections were based on the times of both returning and incoming swimmers that had announced their commitment along with input from coaches and sports information contacts.

The swimmers representing WVU Tech include sophomore Isabela Kiesewetter Zandavalli (200 Backstroke), senior Francine Meyer (100 Freestyle | 100 Butterfly) and junior Kendra Monnin (100 and 200 Breaststroke | 200 Individual Medley) for the women.

The men are represented by sophomore Arthur Bertrand (200 Backstroke), junior Geoffroy Gauneau (100 and 200 Butterfly), sophomore Kohen Kerr (100 Freestyle) and junior Manuel Serrano Laguna (200 Breaststroke).

Both squads will start off their seasons October 7-8 at the West Virginia State Games hosted by Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia.
