vs. UNION (November 24)
  • Fell to Union College 73-64 in game one of two during the NAIA DII Showcase in Kingsport, Tennessee Friday evening.
  • Freshman Whittney Justice led the team with 11 points while senior Zjhane West finished with nine.
  • Juniors Savannah Shamblin and Alexandra Combs and sophomore Carlie Biehl-Wilson had eight points each to round out the top offensive contributors.
  • Under the boards, sophomore Logan Dudley pulled down a team-best six rebounds while fellow classmate Laura Requena recorded five.
  • The team shot 26-for-62 (41.9 percent) from the field while Union finished 24-for-55 (43.6 percent).
  • Tech forced 16 miscues and picked up eight steals.

vs. No. 2 UNION (November 24)
  • Dropped a 74-67 decision to No. 2 Union College during the NAIA DII Showcase in Kingsport, Tennessee Friday evening.
  • The Golden Bears were led by junior Thomas Collins who finished 6-for-15 from the field towards 18 points.
  • Senior Michael Scott earned a double-double effort of 17 points and 12 rebounds for the Gold and Blue.
  • Dominik King pulled down ten rebounds to go with five points while junior Brent Daniels had eight boards.
  • Junior Cole Schoolcraft dished a game-best four assists while marking seven points.
  • The team was held to 35.6 percent (21-for-59) shooting from the floor while the Bulldogs shot 35.9 percent (23-for-64).
  • Tech held the advantage on rebounds, 48-46.

LAST COMPETITION
  • The Golden Bears took on the Fighting Scots of Ohio Valley University in Vienna, West Virginia Saturday afternoon, dropping the contest 36-19.
  • WVU Tech now holds a dual record of 2-1 this season while Ohio Valley moves to 1-0.
  • The points picked up by bout for Tech were earned by freshman Logan Robertson (133 lbs.) and sophomore Leland Swafford (157 lbs.).
  • Robertson earned a 5-2 decision over OVU's Riley White while Swafford won by major decision, 9-1, over Samuel Phillips.

LAST MEET
  • Competed in the Magnus Cup hosted by Cleveland State University November 17-19.
  • The men's squad finished eighth overall while the women ended 14th.
  • Four school records were broken during the three-day competition in Cleveland, Ohio including two for the men's team and two for the women.
  • Senior Kendra Monnin surpassed her original 50 Breaststroke record with a 31.02 while junior Isabela Kiesewetter Zandavalli lowered her own 100 Back record to 58.99.
  • Senior Geoffroy Gauneau lowered his 100 Butterfly record to 50.11 while sophomore Paulo Ignacio, Jr. also broke his own record, touching at 26.30 for a fourth place finish in the 50 Breaststroke.
  • Ignacio picked up 58 team points for the Gold and Blue, finishing second in the 200 Breaststroke (2:03) and fifth in the 100 Breaststroke (56.46).
  • Gauneau also picked up points for Tech, placing fourth in the 100 IM (52.78) and seventh in the 100 Butterfly (50.11).
