PIPPA PASSES, Ky. — WVU Tech women's basketball extended its winning streak to four games Tuesday night, earning an 84–79 road victory at Alice Lloyd College behind career-high performances from three Golden Bears. The Golden Bears shot 54.4 percent from the floor, controlled key stretches of the second and third quarters and improved to 6–1 overall with the win.

WVU Tech (6–1) opened with a balanced first quarter but trailed 18–17 after Alice Lloyd knocked down a late three. The Golden Bears responded with their sharpest offensive frame of the night in the second, shooting 64.3 percent and using contributions from Alexis Sexton, Alaira Evans, Cadence Stewart and Emmanuella Amaefula to take a 37–31 lead into the half.
