KOKOMO, Ind. - WVU Tech men's basketball made the trip to (RV) Indiana University Kokomo on Friday afternoon, falling 89-69 in a River States Conference (RSC) matchup at the Student Activities and Events Center. The Golden Bears moved to 6-12 overall and 3-5 in league play, while the Cougars improved to 17-3 overall and 7-1 in the RSC.
IU Kokomo built an early advantage and carried a 52-31 lead into the break. WVU Tech kept competing through the second half, scoring 38 points over the final 20 minutes, with the Golden Bears continuing to generate quality perimeter looks and finishing the day with 10 made three-pointers.
