MONTGOMERY, West Virginia - The WVU Tech women's basketball team will begin their 2014-15 campaign with their home debut against the University of Pikeville Thursday evening in the Baisi Athletic Center.
Most weekday games start at 6:00 p.m. while weekend contests will begin at 2:00 p.m. unless otherwise noted.

The Golden Bears open their season vs. UPIKE in Montgomery, West Virginia. Tech then hits the road for a contest against Point Park University Nov. 1 before hosting Bluefield College (Virginia) Nov. 4. Tipoff for reach game is slated for 6:00 p.m.

Tech then has two more road games, Alice Lloyd College (Nov. 8) and the University of Northwestern (Nov. 11), before a four-game homestand including the Baisi Classic. The team will host Virginia University of Lynchburg (Nov. 15) for homecoming followed by the classic vs. Alice Lloyd and the University of Rio Grande Nov. 21 and Nov. 22 respectively and Davis & Elkins College Nov. 25, 1:00 p.m. start time.

The games leading up to holiday break include two home games and the Sheetz Herb Sims Classic hosted by Bluefield State University. The Golden and Blue will play host to Point Park (Dec. 10) and The University of Virginia's College at Wise (Dec.13) before heading to Bluefield, West Virginia to face Bowie State University and Kentucky State University at the Classic, Dec. 19 and Dec. 20.
At the conlusion of the break, Tech begins a stretch that features four out of its next six games on the road Jan. 17 vs. Rio Grande, Jan. 19 vs. Ohio Christian University, Jan. 21 vs. UPIKE and Jan. 24 vs. the University of the Cumberlands (Kentucky) with Bluefield State Jan. 14 and Cumberlands Jan. 10 at home prior.

The remainder of the regular season includes six road games with three home match-ups sprinkled in, Jan. 31 vs. Newport News Apprentice School, Feb. 1 Washington Adventist University, Feb. 3 Bluefield State, Feb. 8 Bluefield College, at home Feb. 13 Ohio Christian University and Feb. 21 Berea College, Feb. 26 vs. Allen University, Feb. 27 vs. Virginia University of Lynchburg and final regular season game at home for Senior Day vs. Newport News (Mar. 1).

WVU Tech was selected to host the 2014-15 Association of Independent Institutions (A.I.I.) Conferences's DI basketball championiships Mar. 6-8. All six DI teams will advance to the A.I.I. Championships with the winner earning the conference's automatic qualifying berth to the national championships.

The price of admission for WVU Tech Basketball games are $5 per adult and $3 for students and seniors. WVU Tech students, faculty and staff will be granted free admission with a valid ID.
