MONTGOMERY, West Virginia — The WVU Tech men's swimming team defeated Lindsey Wilson College Saturday afternoon in their 2015-16 home opener, 145-59. The action took place at the WVU Tech Pool in the Baisi Athletic Center.

Here are a few of the top finishes:

• First place finish in the 200 Medley Relay with the team of freshman Arthur Bertrand and sophomores Manuel Serrano Laguna, Geoffroy Gauneau and Quentin Cooper.
• First place finish by sophomore Alexandre Quintão in the 1000 Freestyle with a time of 10:32.02.
• First place finish by sophomore Jesus Ballesteros in the 200 Freestyle with at ime of 1:48.51.
• First place finish by Gauneau in the 100 Butterfly with a time of 52.69.
• First place finish in the 500 Freestyle by Cooper with a time of 4:55.25.

The squad will return to the pool when they host the University of the Cumberlands Homecoming weekend at WVU Tech. The meet is scheduled for Saturday, October 31.
