COLUMBUS, Ind. — WVU Tech volleyball turned in one of its most balanced offensive outings of the season Saturday morning, pushing host IU Columbus in a 3–0 (25–15, 25–14, 27–25) River States Conference setback at Cera Sports Park.
The Golden Bears (3–22, 2–5 RSC) hit a solid .123 as a team while totaling 31 kills, 29 assists, 46 digs, and four service aces. Tech found rhythm in the third set, extending play beyond 25 points before the Crimson Pride closed it out late.
Junior Ivana Burgos paced Tech with seven kills and a service ace, while senior Nevaeh Wooding and freshman Aubree Cantrell added six kills apiece. Freshman Aniston Treadway chipped in six kills and a .176 attack percentage.
Junior Addison White guided the offense with 16 assists, seven digs, and a kill, and sophomore Anaís González distributed 10 assists. Defensively, senior Peydon Smith anchored the back row with a team-high 16 digs, followed by sophomore Brooke Daniels with eight and White with seven.
IU Columbus (12–6, 3–3 RSC) was led by Sadie Egan (nine kills, .300), Journee Brown (eight kills, .533), and Cora Baker (seven kills, .375). Setter Bailey Stevens recorded 21 assists and three aces for the hosts.
